3g. Wilhelmine Johanne Engellenner (1810/1811–?)

Wilhelmine Johanne, the youngest daughter, goes to the now Danish town of Løjt, near Aabenraa. She becomes a skivvy (maidservant). On the 15th April 1842, she marries the farm and day labourer Mads Christensen (born 1794/1795) who is 15 years older than her. He comes from Lemvig/Nordhuse in northern Jutland. In the following year, they get a daughter:

  • Johanne Marie Christensen (1843–?)

However, it seems the family is not in luck. Mads dies the 10th August 1857 and Wilhelmine, now 47 years old, dies 14 days later (22nd August 1857). The dauther Johanne Marie is left behind, only 14 years old. Three years later, in 1860, she is still in Løjt Kirkeby, on the farm of the 46 year old widow Mette Krap (born Boisen). She works as a maid.
