Anne Marie Elisabeth never marries. She lives in Aabenraa. When she is 30 years old a disease in her spinal cord makes that both her legs are paralysed. She is bed-ridden. She is taken care of and dies in a house for the poor belonging to the Günderoth charity in Aabenraa. A short article is devoted to her in the Danish newspaper „Flensborg Avis“ in 1929. There, she is described as being diligent, especially with crochet work.
